Bachelor's Degree: Physical Education and Health Education

Elba High School

Elba High School - Elba City Schools

Carroll High will be my first teaching job and I look forward to gaining my experience from Ozark City Schools. I will be teaching Girl's Strength and Conditioning, Girl's L.I.F.E. Physical Education, and Girl's Elective Physical Education.

I am also Head volleyball and basketball coach on the middle school level and Head JV softball coach.

I was born and raised in the small town of Elba, Alabama! I graduated from Elba High School in 2007 and then moved to Troy, Alabama to start my college career. I just recently graduated from Troy this past May with my Bachelors degree in Physical Education and Health Education. Sports and physical activity have always been a major part of my life so it was only fitting I took this career path.

Being a recent graduate, this is my first teaching job, and I couldn't be more happier and feel more blessed than to be a part of the Carroll High family and a member of the Ozark community. Ozark City Schools have been more than generous and I don't think I could have asked for a better school system to start my teaching career in.

I will be coaching three sports this year between Carroll High and D.A. Smith Middle School so I have a feeling free time will be hard to find. However, I have a two year old nephew that takes up majority of my spare time but when I'm not too busy I enjoy spending time with my wonderful family and friends. I love getting away to the beach whenever I can find the time and if not the lake works just fine!
